RESOURCES

For the price of two Starbucks coffees, you could feed three horses for a week! We are so grateful for any donations to the farm - no amount is too small! Plus, it's tax deductible <3

DONATIONS

WANT TO DONTATE SUPPLIES?

We are so grateful for those who send feed, toys, and other supplies. Some of our animals with the most traumatic backgrounds are in sanctuary on the farm. Most costs are covered by the founder, so any help is appreciated!

HELP ON THE FARM

We are always open to having people volunteer on the farm.

(Please note: We must run background checks as a part of our organization protocols)

OUR RESIDENT CRITTERS

Some of our creatures have gone through so much, we have chosen to save them from any additional upheaval or adjustments and have given them sanctuary on the farm.

SNAPSHOT

Karumel Farm Animal Rescue provides a safe haven for abandoned and unwanted animals, giving them the care they need until we find them forever homes.

We are located in Jessamine County, near Lexington, Kentucky on ten acres of grassy land that makes mowing a nearly 24/7 occupation! Up until November, that is.  Then we hunker down in muck boots, Izod puffy jackets, and every other imaginable way to stay warm from wet wind and cold as we feed all the critters and clean stalls.

We have a driveway lined with Bradford Pear trees that flower beautifully in the Spring, but also keep us on our toes in storms, as they have proven that being pretty certainly did not make them hardy!
